Landing Page of the Week #55 – Let’s sell spooky tour tickets!

TABLE OF CONTENT

Today we’re taking a look at a Halloween-oriented landing page.

What is it all about?
The Ghost Bus Tours’ name speaks for itself, really. On this landing page, you can book a spooky bus tour in London, York, or Edinburgh.
But what exactly makes the landing page work?

1. Show the quality
The company put its best foot forward and showed us how professional they are. There are a lot of beautiful drawings and graphics on this landing page. What’s the conclusion for the viewer? Of course – that the tour itself is of perfect quality as well.
2. Climatic storytelling
Whoever came up with the copy, had this wonderful idea to invite the visitors to the tour in a spooky, chilling manner. It’s like an invitation to a story. And if you’re curios how it ends, you’d better book this tour now!

3. Persuade step by step
I like how the page isn’t really screaming “buy now”. Instead, it first asks you to choose one of three available cities, then presents the landmarks, and then kindly invites you to pay for the tour.
Still, it’s worth mentioning that a small “book now” CTA is available at all times in the top right corner (and it’s a good thing).

Landing Page of the Week is a series where I review examples of landing pages from the web.
