Landingi, top one among Brevo marketing platform alternatives, compared to Brevo itself
TABLE OF CONTENT

There are many alternatives to Brevo in the digital marketing field, but only a few offer such a comprehensive toolset at reasonable prices. Among them, one platform stands out due to its powerful functions, more customization options, and ease of use (despite many advanced features on the board). Let me introduce: Landingi!

Although it’s not an email marketing platform, Landingi can be easily involved into e-mail marketing campaigns through integrations with tools like MailChimp, GetResponse, or even Brevo, while offering a great landing page builder (also: pop-up, form, microsites and lightboxes building features), more advanced analytic tools, more integrations, advanced features for AI content generation, automated translations and much more. The platform is famous for its reliability and solid infrastructure, allowing users smooth everyday operation, something Brevo often struggles with.

Below, I compare both platforms to find the differences, highlight their strengths and disadvantages, discover prices and unleash integration catalogs. I also examine user feedback for Brevo and Landingi collected from the following sites:

  • G2,
  • GetApp,
  • TrustPilot.

If you’re already familiar with Brevo, just skip ahead to the Landingi section. If you have no time and look only for quick overview, please find it below!

Landingi, top one among Brevo marketing platform alternatives, compared to Brevo itself

Brevo

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), was founded in 2012 in France by Armand Thiberge and Kapil Sharma. Originally designed as an email marketing service, it has since evolved into a comprehensive digital marketing platform, known for its reliability and user-friendly approach. Over the years, Brevo has built a strong reputation for providing robust digital tools that cater to businesses of all sizes.

What is Brevo?

Brevo is a versatile platform offering features like email and SMS marketing, marketing automation, workflow builder, mini CRM, and landing page builder. It is widely used by businesses to perform campaigns, manage customer relationships, run targeted marketing campaigns or create complex automated workflows. By providing an all-in-one marketing solution, Brevo enables users to effectively engage with their audiences and drive business growth.

Why People are Using Brevo?

People are using Brevo due to its extremely user-friendly interface, intuitive navigation in the platform, lots of email marketing automation tools, good price-quality ratio and very helpful multi-channel support. The full list of advantages commonly stated by users on review portals is as follows:

  • intuitive navigation in the platform, as well as in their builder based on drag-and-drop solutions,
  • a lot of email marketing features and templates,
  • affordable pricing, particularly for small and medium businesses,
  • extensive marketing automation features,
  • prompt customer support through different channels,
  • easiness of integration with other digital marketing tools and platforms.

The Brevo platform is easy to use. It is all in one platform that allows users to manage their customer relationships via email, sms, chat and many more options. Brevo tool also integrates with many digital tools, which saves time and money.” (Arzan D., G2, Jun 14, 2024)

What are Brevo Disadvantages?

Bravo’s disadvantages, pointed out in user feedback available in reviews published online, boil down to limited customization options (it pertains to different tools), too strict anti-spam policy, support response time, limited integrations, and high prices depending on the business size. Here are detailed bullet points with the platform’s weak spots:

  • restrictive and unclear spam policy causing troubles in email marketing campaigns (unsent emails or even account suspensions),
  • email, automation and creation capabilities are somewhat limited compared to the competitors (it concerns first of all advanced functions),
  • support should be more dynamic, particularly when solving advanced technical issues,
  • pricing curve becomes steep as your business grows (it concerns especially email marketing campaigns, more precisely: messages sent and number of contacts),
  • it’s easy to connect with other digital platforms, but the integration catalog lacks some famous tools.

Support response time, especially on weekends, is very poor. Problem solving, mainly related to removing IPs from the blacklist, should be more dynamic.” (Roberto C., G2, Nov 28, 2023)

Brevo Key Features

Brevo’s key features include a suite of tools for email marketing, online marketing (from landing pages to web push notifications), customer data gathering and processing, mobile marketing, and overall marketing automation. All of these, along with basic analytics, are designed to streamline marketing efforts in different digital marketing fields. You can use Brevo to increase user engagement, grow your audience, improve conversion rate and level up business revenue.

Email Marketing Tools

Brevo is renowned as one of the best email marketing platforms across the digital marketing and indeed, this is the field where it really shines.

The platform includes a drag-and-drop email editor with a range of customizable templates, allowing users to create professional emails that are fully responsive and aligned with their brand identity.

You can compose your e-mails using blocks like title, text, image, video, button, logo, social, html, payment link, header with logo, footer, divider, navigation and spacer. You can also use predefined sections to save some time. The individual elements can be personalized, but the number of settings is relatively poor. Sizes, fonts, borders and so on. A few interesting special effects and less obvious formatting options would be beneficial.

You have at your disposal over 50 ready-to-use designs to choose from. They are categorized into the following groups: anniversary, onboarding, new products, progress, re-engagement, layout, greeting, feedback, confirmation, blog post, announcement, notification, greeting, feedback, sale, special offer, thank you, and welcome. Check out below a few exemplary templates:

The platform includes segmentation tools that enable users to target specific groups within their contact lists based on criteria like behavior, demographics, or purchase history. This functionality allows for precise targeting, ensuring that the right message reaches the right audience, which can lead to better engagement and conversion rates. Dynamic personalization features further support this by allowing for customized subject lines and content.

Brevo also has a built-in AI tool for crafting messages. It suggests individual subject lines and text. It’s definitely a time-saving option, but you must refine the generated communication to maximize its effects and give it a human touch.

Another interesting feature is the automatic optimization of email send time for each recipient based on individual open and click rates.

Next, Brevo offers an extensive email automation pack. You can create advanced, multi-stage workflows for various customer interactions – from welcome emails in response to sign-up through order confirmations to more advanced re-engagement campaigns. These automated sequences help streamline communication and reduce the need for manual follow-up, making campaign management more efficient. Brevo has here most of the functions that their competitors (like MailChimp or GetReponse) have, but the level of customization of individual details is not so amazing.

Lastly, Brevo provides detailed analytics and reporting tools to monitor campaign performance. Metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates are tracked, giving users insights into the effectiveness of their campaigns. You can use simple metrics like the one below but also create a custom reporting dashboard.

Sales and Automation Tools

Brevo’s sales functions are designed to enhance the sales process. They enable teams to manage leads, automate workflows, and track sales activities in one place.

At the core of the platform is its CRM system, which allows business users to organize and manage their contacts and interactions in a centralized database. It enables lead scoring, pipeline management, and task automation, saving sales teams time, which may then be invested more in closing deals than in administrative work.

Additionally, Brevo’s sales platform integrates with email and SMS marketing tools, enabling seamless communication with leads and customers directly from the CRM. Users can set up automated sequences to nurture leads or re-engage prospects and track the effectiveness of these communications with detailed analytics.

Other valuable features include inboxes for team collaboration, meeting scheduling, and sales reporting. These capabilities provide sales teams with a comprehensive view of their sales activities, helping them make data-driven decisions to optimize their sales strategy and drive growth.

Landing Page Builder

Brevo also offers a landing page builder, which, unfortunately, looks like only an addition to the other tools, not the key player. It has an intuitive interface and works smoothly, but the customization options, templates and advanced settings are very limited. It may be surprising when we read on Brevo’s blog that “Landing pages are like strategic command centers in digital marketing”.

The editor is no-code and very similar to an e-mail editor. You can compose your pages based on templates or build from scratch. Even if you choose the latter option, you have at your hand premade sections and elements (like text boxes, images, forms, etc.). Each element can be customized in a few essential dimensions:

  • layout/structure,
  • style,
  • color,
  • and formatting.

Brevo doesn’t offer tools for conversion optimization, which are crucial for making created pages effective marketing or/and business tools. If you don’t know how users interact on your pages, where they click, and which elements engage them the most, you will be unable to address their painpoints and, at the same time, increase the conversion rate. Sometimes, it’s also good to check if your landing page’s performance is optimal with an A/B test. It allows you to compare two versions of your pages that differ from each other in one element (e.g., different headlines, CTAs, images, forms, etc.). All of these are missing in Brevo. Connecting Google Analytics might alleviate the issue somewhat, but it’s not the most effective and convenient solution.

No dedicated AI solutions for crafting landing page copy is another drawback, as most of the landing page building platforms offer it.

Finally, the lack of advanced mobile optimization features makes the tool hardly usable in real marketing activities, given that today, more and more page traffic comes from smartphones, tablets, etc.

Brevo Integrations

Brevo can be integrated with over 50 digital marketing tools, including ones for email campaigns, ecommerce, CRMs and more. Here are the categories of potential connections along with the most popular apps you can integrate with in Brevo:

  • payment services & ecommerce (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Salesforce),
  • lead generation and forms (OptinMonster, Involve.me, WisePops, Poptin, TypeForm),
  • email marketing services (Acymailing, MailChimp),
  • Contact (Intercom, Live Help Now),
  • CMSes (WordPress, Wix),
  • CRMs (Zoho, Pipedrive, SugarCRM),
  • Marketing automation solutions (Skyvia, Make),
  • Other (Zapier, Gmail).

Brevo Pricing & Plans

Brevo’s pricing includes a free plan and many paid plans ranging from $9 a month to thousands of dollars. Their pricing is complicated, but generally, more functions, e-mails, and contacts on your lists imply more charges. The initial prices for lower plans look great, but these plans can be sufficient in terms of functions and limits only for very small businesses. Medium-sized businesses will surely need to choose higher plans or pay additional charges for exceeding limits.

Brevo offers five pricing blocks related to the platform’s specific group of features. Let’s dig into it a bit deeper.

The first block is “Marketing Platform” with the following plans:

  • “Free”,
  • “Starter” (from $9 a month),
  • “Business” (from $18 a month),
  • “Enterprise” (custom prices).

The “Business” plan looks the most reasonable, as it includes landing pages, advanced analytics, A/B testing, and some automation that is missing in lower plans.

The second block is “Conversational Platform” with the following plans:

  • “Free”,
  • “Pro” (from $15 a month billed per user).

The generous free plan includes unlimited conversation, iOS & Android mobile apps and third-party plugins, while the “Pro” plan adds to this Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp communication, a chatbot, visitors lists, forms and Brevo phone support.

The third block is “Sales Platform” with two separate plans offered:

  • Free,
  • “Pro” (from $12 billed per user).

The free plan includes unlimited contacts, 50 open deals, 1 deal pipeline, task management, and meeting scheduling. The “Pro” plan completes this with sales automation, advanced reporting, and phone support. Deals and pipelines are unlimited.

The fourth plan (“Messaging API“) doesn’t comprise any specific plans. Instead, you can determine how many e-mails you’d like to send each day using a slider. Some exemplary prices are below:

  • up to 300 e-mails for free,
  • up to 20,000 e-mails for $15 a month,
  • up to 100,000 e-mails for $65 a month,
  • up to 500,000 emails for $300,
  • up to 1,000,000 e-mails for $550.

If you need more e-mails, you need to talk to sales and discuss individual pricing.

The last, fifth plan (“Enterprise Solution“) is fully custom (in terms of functions and prices). It concerns functions and prices too. It is dedicated to big companies or ecommerce businesses with very long e-mail lists and in need of complex automation solutions.

Landingi – Best Brevo Alternative

Landingi was founded in 2013 by Błażej Abel in Poland as a response to the growing need for an accessible and effective landing page creation tool in digital marketing. The platform quickly gained popularity among marketers and businesses for its ability to simplify complex tasks associated with online campaigns. Over the years, Landingi has expanded its features and capabilities, continuously evolving to meet the needs of its global user base. Today, it stands out as a leading solution in the digital marketing space, trusted by both small businesses and major enterprises like Sony, Jerónimo Martins, or CBRE.

What is Landingi?

Landingi is a comprehensive platform designed for building, optimizing, and managing landing pages without requiring advanced technical skills. It offers a drag-and-drop editor, a wide range of customizable templates, and integration with popular marketing tools, allowing users to create high-converting pages quickly and efficiently. Landingi is primarily used by digital marketers, agencies, and businesses looking to boost their online marketing campaigns and improve lead generation efforts.

Why People are Using Landingi?

People choose Landingi because it provides an intuitive, user-friendly page builder with no need for coding knowledge, making it accessible to users of all skill levels. Its extensive library of templates and advanced A/B testing features allow marketers to experiment and optimize for better results. The platform’s seamless integration with various marketing tools and its affordable pricing make it a flexible and cost-effective choice. With these advantages, Landingi is ideal for businesses looking to enhance their digital marketing strategies and maximize conversions. Below, you’ll find a comprehensive breakdown of Landingi’s key strengths, gathered from numerous user reviews on platforms like G2, GetApp, and TrustPilot (highlighting the most commonly mentioned benefits):

  • very versatile landing page builder with countless customization options and intuitive user interface,
  • building various digital marketing assets (from microsites to pop-ups, forms, sections, lightboxes),
  • over 300 page templates ideal for different industries, marketing goals, funnel stages, etc.,
  • genuine human-to-human customer support,
  • advanced analytics set, especially compared to other page building platforms (A/B testing, event tracking, customizable dashboards),
  • an array of solutions specifically created for agencies and global firms (enhanced account management, Smart Sections, and perfected security functions),
  • ongoing product development and unlocking new features,
  • hundreds of integrations with tools for marketing automation, email marketing solutions, CRMs and many others.

I love Landingi because it is a stable, reliable platform with very attentive and friendly technical service. It’s easy to use and has a lot of features that are enhanced every day. I use it daily for my landing pages. I love how easy it is to implement all my landing pages and all the integrations they offer.” (Tito C., G2, Jul 22, 2024).

What are Landingi Disadvantages?

Landingi’s downsides include some time required to get accustomed to its navigation (only then can users make use of all functions), limited video and animation editing tools, and minor alignment inconsistencies in the mobile version generated automatically. Although it’s really hard to encounter a negative review of the platform, a few positive ones include critiques and enhancement recommendations, so I can take them into account too. Here’s a detailed list of Landingi’s disadvantages most frequently mentioned by users:

  • more advanced platform’s features require some time to get familiar with and operate them smoothly,
  • the automatically generated mobile version still needs some tweaks to be perfect,
  • visuals (images, videos, animations, etc.) editing options could be more extensive,
  • connecting the domain could be more straightforward.

Some advanced features can be a bit complex to navigate.” (Iwona P., G2, Jul 15, 2024).

Landingi Key Features

Landingi’s essential features include an intuitive drag-and-drop landing page creator, over 400 templates for different assets (landing pages, microsites, pop-ups, forms, sections, etc.), a vast page testing suite, Smart Sections for managing page content in bulk, EventTracker for analyzing user behavior, and AI advanced capabilities including tools for generating content, completing SEO and simple image editing.

Top-Notch Page Builder

As the leading digital marketing tool, according to Semrush, Landingi specializes in professional landing page creation and optimization. The platform offers a spectacular range of customization features, enabling users to design almost everything, from basic pages based on templates to very specific ones tailored to the unique style and needs of the most demanding brands.

Despite its reputation as a landing page builder, Landingi also enables you to create one pagers and microsites (or even small websites), pop-ups, forms, sections and much more. You can utilize in the creation of the following predefined elements:

  • text boxes,
  • forms (with a bunch of ready-to-use templates),
  • buttons (+payment buttons),
  • images, icons, and visual effects,
  • videos and animations,
  • counters,
  • custom codes.

In contrast to Brevo’s limited section layouts, Landingi delivers here an extensive library. This is crucial, as it can significantly accelerate the landing page creation process. This library includes templates for about pages, portfolios, service descriptions, testimonials, forms, headers and footers, pricing tables, product showcases, teams, and much more. With these ready-made sections, users can craft pages that match their brand style and campaign needs with minimal effort on their end. Instead of starting from zero, you can use section kits that are similar to what you aim to create and adjust it as you wish. It typically takes up no more than an hour (sometimes 10 minutes will suffice).

The next feature of great value is Smart Sections. It allows users to easily add and adjust the same sections across multiple pages with just a few clicks, eliminating the need to rebuild them from scratch on each page.

Additionally, Landingi offers a mobile view editor that simplifies the process of creating mobile-friendly landing pages. Users can manually adjust the size, visibility, and position of elements or generate an optimized mobile layout automatically with a single click.

Hundreds of Templates for Landing Pages and Other Assets

With over 300 template kits for landing pages, Landingi surpasses Brevo by more than 10 times. While looking for a perfect kit, you can categorize them with purpose, industry, and color as criteria. This was, you can identify appropriate templates in a snap.

As I mentioned earlier, advanced users with unique needs can also create landing pages from scratch to maintain full control over every detail.

To complete this picture, let’s note that in Landingi you can also make use of more than 100 templates for different digital assets, including pop-ups, lightboxes and forms. Here are some example templates for form layouts:

AI Features and Automated Translations

Landingi’s AI pack continues to expand. Now, it includes a range of tools for generating targeted communication based on provided data (the tool is powered by the latest ChatGPT version improved with a bunch of training data and a series of preprompts for more precise answers), SEO console, and AI background editor for images.

Most users are interested in the first tool I mentioned. So, how does it actually work? AI Assistant creates customized copy that fits your brand’s goals, target market, and writing style. Simply provide information about your company, audience, and tone, and it can generate complete content for everything from headlines to detailed sections of your pages. While some minor edits might be necessary, the results are typically more polished than what is offered by other AI content builders.

If the initial output doesn’t satisfy you, click the “regenerate” button and you’ll be provided with a quick alternative.

Finally, there is also a feature that can turn out to be a real game-changer in current digital marketing: automated translations. It’s one of Landingi’s UVPs, as it’s unavailable in the other landing page building platforms (Brevo also lacks it). With this feature, you can translate your content and create pages in multiple languages in no time. Simply way to extend the geographical scope of your business and drive more conversions (of course, only if your product or services can be delivered in many countries or for many audiences).

Analytics and Conversion Optimization Tools

Landingi stands out in the realm of conversion optimization, offering a broad selection of built-in testing and analytics tools. They provide tons of useful data for evaluating conversions, enabling users to make strategic, data-backed design decisions and, hence, improve conversion rates.

With integrated Landingi’s CRO suite, you don’t have to buy and set up external tools, which are typically expensive and require some technical knowledge to get familiar with. Two of the most useful CRO features in Landingi are:

  • Versatile testing pack that includes not only basic A/B tests but also multivariate testing, and split testing, helping you utilize data in different ways to determine the most effective variants of your pages. It allows you to test a wide range of elements such as headlines, copy, main images, and backgrounds. Understanding which elements drive conversions lets you implement targeted, evidence-based optimizations to enhance performance and achieve better campaign outcomes.
  • EventTracker provides in-depth monitoring of user behavior on your pages, capturing actions such as button clicks, form submissions, scrolling behavior, video engagements, and payment activities. It delivers essential analytics insights and stands out as an effective substitute for Google Analytics for landing pages. It bypasses several of GA4’s limitations, including a complicated setup process, the need for third-party cookies, manual event setting, a lack of visual tracking tools, and restricted customer support. The image below shows the different events EventTracker can track.

Obviously, if G4 is your favorite analytic tool and you prefer it to others, it’s easy to integrate it with your Landingi account.

For those who don’t require complex tools, Landingi provides straightforward dashboards and charts to monitor key metrics like page views and conversion rates. They offer a quick and clear overview of your page performance.

Advanced Management and Scalability Features

Landingi’s scalability and effective management features are highly advantageous for agencies, enterprises, and large-scale businesses. It allows for the simultaneous management of numerous pages, customization of workflows, and seamless handling of multiple user accounts.

In the platform, you can set up multiple users’ accounts and sub-accounts that cater to different clients, campaigns, or types of sites. They are managed with adjustable permissions and user-friendly dashboards, ensuring smooth operations.

Additionally, Landingi is well-suited for companies needing numerous landing pages or sites for comprehensive marketing campaigns. Two key features that support this are:

  • Smart Sections enable you to edit many landing pages simultaneously by tweaking a single section. Changes will automatically appear on all pages that include that section. It’s a true time-saver, especially if you deal with big digital marketing projects (e.g., PPC e-commerce campaigns) with many pages involved.
  • The dynamic content, on the other hand, allows the same page (single URL) to display different content to various audiences. For example, a clothing retailer’s landing page can dynamically display season-specific products based on a visitor’s location. A visitor from Chicago in winter might see a selection of winter coats and boots, while a visitor from Miami would see summer dresses and swimwear.

Rock-Solid Infrastructure for Optimized Performance

Although small businesses may often overlook it, this element is a key point for larger enterprises. Landingi guarantees high-level website security and functionality through Amazon Web Services’ cloud infrastructure. Key components like two-factor authentication and the latest Re-Captcha are enhanced by regular penetration tests performed by external cybersecurity experts. This thorough security protocol ensures steel-alike protection and high performance, positioning Landingi as a favored platform for leading international companies such as:

  • Sony,
  • Warner Bros,
  • Opera,
  • Nationale-Nederlanden,
  • DAT,
  • PayU,
  • CBRE,
  • foodWell.

Landingi Integrations

With a robust collection of over 170 integrations for digital marketing platforms and apps, Landingi proves to be far more versatile than Brevo in terms of connectivity. This makes it particularly valuable for businesses seeking to create a cohesive workflow with various tools. The main integration options in Landingi, categorized by their software type, are outlined below.

  • email marketing platforms (with MailChimp, GetResponse, Freshmail, Klaviyo, SendFox and ActiveCampaign at the forefront),
  • CRMs and workflow builders (like Pipeline, Zoho CRM, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Creatio, ConvertKit, Keap, Brevo, Thrive Coach, LeadSqured, Firmao, etc.),
  • ecommerce platforms (including, among others, PayPal, Stripe, Salesforce, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Chargify, Edrone, CartPanda),
  • customer support and contact apps (e.g., Zendesk, Freshchat, Intercom, Constant Contact, Convolo and WhatsApp),
  • analytics and customer data tracking tools (Google Analytics, Crazy Egg, Hotjar, Campaign Monitor, Piwik PRO, Mixpanel, Google Tag Manager, Pinterest Tag, TikTok Pixel and more),
  • digital adveritsing platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and others alike),
  • other tools (e.g., Zapier, Calendly, Booksy, Drip, Slack, ClickSend, reCAPTCHA, Excel, Spotify, Gmail, Airbnb, Trustpilot).

Note that you can also connect Landingi with Brevo!

Landingi Pricing & Plans

Landingi goes with a four pricing tiers and four plans. The free plan (“Free“) is, naturally, for free. The “Lite” plan costs $29 a month ($24 if paid upfront for a year). The “Professional” plan is for $69 a month (or $57 if paid yearly upfront). And the “Unlimited” plan is priced at $990 monthly (or $820 if you prefer annual billing). Both “Lite” and “Professional” plans offer a free trial, giving users complete access to all page creation tools at no initial charge. The plans come with several features, key examples of which are outlined below (note that higher-tier plans encompass all features from the lower tiers).

1. Free ($0 per month):

  • digital asset creator (included: landing pages, micropages and onepagers, mobile pages, forms, pop-ups, lightboxes, thank-you-pages, sections and more),
  • 1 landing page,
  • 500 visits/month,
  • 1 custom domain with forced SSL,
  • 3,000 Credits Starter Pack to try AI Assistant

3. Professional ($69 per month or $57 if paid yearly upfront):

  • unlimited landing pages (or other assets) to build,

  • lead generation advisory,
  • official partnership.

When your traffic or domain needs exceed what the basic plan allows, extra packages are available for purchase in Landingi’s add-on store. The store also offers a variety of tools aimed at simplifying daily activities and enhancing work efficiency.

Why Landingi is Best Brevo Alternative?

Landingi is the best Brevo alternative, as it offers a much better landing page builder with more creative flexibility, more customization options, and ten times more templates crafted for specific industries and page goals. Compared to Brevo Landingi offers also:

  • a more extensive built-in conversion optimization set including testing tools and EventTracker (in Brevo you can only connect Google Analytics, which, besides, is also possible in Landingi),
  • much more content editing tools (from AI writing assistance to automated translations),
  • 3 times more integrations with external apps and platforms,
  • and more reliable infrastructure based on Amazon Web Services.

However, Brevo, as an email service provider, offers a bunch of functions that are unavailable in Landingi. It’s also an automation tool, so automation features are more developed in Brevo than in Landingi. That said, the response to the question “Brevo or Landingi” depends on your individual marketing needs at that time. If you need an unbeatable page builder with AI solutions, advanced analytics, and tons of integrations, choose Landingi. If you seek an e-mail marketing tool or a platform with extensive automation capabilities, bet on Brevo.

Not to mention that you can also combine both tools, as Landingi allows you to integrate with Brevo!

You can also test both tools and get a first-hand usage experience, which is a perfect ground for your future software decision. Especially now, when both platforms go with free plans (in Landingi you can also try for free paid plans). Good luck!
