Landing Page of the Week #52 – Do they offer more than other genetic testing companies?

TABLE OF CONTENT

There are industries where it’s perfectly clear who your main competitors are.

What if your product addressed your competition directly and challenged them with unique, new features?

Today, let me present to you a landing page made by Genomelink. Let’s find out how they challenge other genetic testing companies!

What is it all about?
If you’ve been following Landing Page of the Week series for a while, you know that we have already reviewed MyHeritage’s landing page a while ago. Today, let’s present a different approach to a similar product.

What did they highlight?

A lot is said about the uniqueness of Genomelink’s reports. The thing that they underline on their landing page is that the kind of reports they offer is not available anywhere else.

Scientific approach. They introduce the head of science advisory by their name, tell us more about the research team and include logos of recognizable institutions they cooperate with.

Privacy and data protection. Need I remind you that you shouldn’t provide any kind of personal information to any party you don’t trust? As we can see, Genomelink took care of protecting health information.

Is there any room for improvement?

I’d appreciate a couple more words on what features I can discover thanks to Genomelink. Although there is more info on that on the next page in the funnel (the sign up form), I wonder if the page would convert better if the traits were better described at this stage.

What about the contact form on this a landing page?

The goal of this landing page is to make the visitors sign up to Genomelink.
The creators of this landing page chose to put a few CTA buttons on the page. Each of them directs the traffic to the next page with the contact form.
This solution enables the analytics to observe how many people go to the page with the contact form and to draw conclusions and come up with ideas on how to optimize this page.

Landing Page of the Week is a series where I review examples of landing pages from the web.
